Good service and tasty American cuisine. Just what we needed to fill up while traveling through Big Springs.
We went there for dinner last night to meet a couple of locals. Two people got their small rib-rye, one got grilled shrimp, and I got fried jumbo shrimp. The steaks looked OK, as did the grilled shrimp. My fried shrimp were definitely not jumbos, but the put a lot more on the plate than the eight specified. Unfortunately they were really too small to fry well and grossly overcooked. On the flip side, the service was great and the place looked clean.
Food was yummy, server was very attentive and the place was clean. Decor kept your eyes busy and loads of ppl kept walking in. First time here and it won't be our last, if we can help it. Highly recommend.
We walked in and was greeted by someone for seating almost immediately. Let me tell you I have done a lot of reviews but this one is my first in Big Spring Texas. They have decorated in a very neat way you almost want to say this place is locals only. But what do you do when you want some good food at a good price? This place has it all. The food is delicious and hot. I had the chicken fried steak and do not regret it. The restaurant is very clean and the menu has a wide variety.
Service was great. Had the chicken fried pork chops. Mashed potatoes and corn. Of course sweet iced tea. Really good comfort food. I'll be back soon. A lot more to try.
One of the few diner type sit down and eat places in BS. Food is good. Wait staff can be helpful. Wait times for food is kinda slow. Grilled Chicken Salad is awesome!! Miss the old baked potato style with the extras on the side, but the potatoes are still great.
Cowboy Steakhouse and Restaurant has a lot of reviews and I can see why. It was a great local place out in Big Spring. I ordered mine togo so I could enjoy it out and Big Spring State Park. The staff were very friendly. I got the fried chicken sandwich with fries and a coconut pie- just what I was wanting. So good!!
The chicken fried steak was excellent, very large portion!! The cheesecake looked delicious. The burgers are served on sourdough bread.
